How its switch registers
Corsair K55 Core ships with Rubber Dome Membrane, rated tactile by this database. The plunger collapses a rubber dome until it bridges two printed pads on the PCB. Soft and bottoming, with no real actuation point to key off.
Drawn distances are the norm for this switch family, not a measurement of this keyboard. The animation is the same diagram the app uses.
Sound
On the sound model used across this site it reads as ultra-deep · rubbery · soft. That is a character derived from its mount, case weight, switch feel and noise rating — it is not a recording of this keyboard.
