How its switch registers
HHKB Classic ships with Topre 45g, rated tactile by this database. Squeezing the dome changes the capacitance between plates; the controller watches the curve cross a threshold. The smooth, quiet, rounded bump associated with Topre boards.
Drawn distances are the norm for this switch family, not a measurement of this keyboard. The animation is the same diagram the app uses.
