How its switch registers
SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 ships with SteelSeries OmniPoint 3.0, rated adjustable magnetic by this database. Because position is analog, the key resets as soon as it starts rising instead of waiting for a fixed release point. The reason FPS players chase these boards — re-actuation with almost no lift.
Drawn distances are the norm for this switch family, not a measurement of this keyboard. The animation is the same diagram the app uses.
Sound
On the sound model used across this site it reads as poppy · sharp. That is a character derived from its mount, case weight, switch feel and noise rating — it is not a recording of this keyboard.
